PatPatDots does not have an account system. You do not need to register or log in, and we do not collect your phone number, email address, name, national identification number, bank card number, or biometric data.

All data generated while you use the application, including training records, Bean profiles, and preferences, is stored locally on your phone. This data is never uploaded to our servers. We cannot view or access this data.

The application requires Bluetooth permission to connect to PatPatDots devices. Bluetooth scanning is configured not to be used to derive location information (neverForLocation). We do not infer your location.

If you are under 14 years of age, please read this Privacy Policy together with your parent or legal guardian and use this application only with their consent.

1. About This Policy and the Operator

1.1 This Privacy Policy applies to the PatPatDots application, its companion devices, subsequent versions, and related services.

1.2 Operator: InteractiveClothes LLC

1.3 Contact Information: tommyguo@interactiveclothes.com

1.4 This Privacy Policy and the User Agreement together constitute the terms governing your use of PatPatDots. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us using the information provided in Section 1.3.

2. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

2.1 We follow the principle of data minimization. We do not collect any information beyond what is necessary to provide the application’s essential functions. We do not collect information that directly identifies you, nor do we access your contacts, text messages, photo library, microphone, or camera data.

2.2 The following information is created by you within the application and stored exclusively on your device. It is used to display your training activities and personal preferences:

  • Training and interaction records: Session counts, session durations, scores, reaction times, game progress, and preferences.
  • Bean profiles: Names you assign to your Beans, selected or customized avatars, creation dates, and interaction statistics.
  • Personalization settings: Language, Care Mode, Demo Mode, vibration and brightness settings, and in-game music and vibration preferences.
  • Bluetooth device information: The names, identifiers, and signal strengths of recently connected devices, used to facilitate faster reconnection.

2.3 Bluetooth Device Identifiers: To remember the PatPatDots devices you have connected, your phone stores the Bluetooth identifier of each device. On Android, this may include the device’s MAC address. This is a device identifier, not information that directly identifies you personally. It remains on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. You can delete your connection history from the device list.

2.4 Third-Party Information You Enter: When using the custom music feature, you may enter a track title and artist name. This information is provided voluntarily by you. Please do not enter other people’s private information.

2.5 We do not collect precise or approximate location information.

2.6 We do not collect or process health data. Training scores and trends displayed in the application are not medical test results and cannot be used to determine whether you have any medical condition.

3. How We Store Your Personal Information

3.1 Storage Location: All data is stored locally on your phone, including in application preference storage and a local event database (patpatdots_events.db). We do not store your data on any server.

3.2 Data Retention: Your data remains on your device for as long as you use the application, unless you delete it within the application, clear the application’s local data, or uninstall the application. Uninstalling the application removes its local data.

3.3 Cross-Border Transfers: Because your data never leaves your device, we do not transfer your personal information across borders or provide it to recipients outside your country.

4. How We Protect Your Personal Information

4.1 Because your data does not leave your device, its security depends primarily on the security of your device itself. We recommend setting a screen lock, keeping your operating system up to date, and avoiding the use of jailbroken or rooted devices.

4.2 Bluetooth communication takes place directly between your device and your phone and does not pass through the internet.

4.3 We process information only to the extent necessary to provide the application’s features. We reduce potential risks by isolating permissions and minimizing the amount of information stored locally.

4.4 Although we take reasonable security measures, no technical safeguard can guarantee absolute security. If a personal information security incident occurs, we will promptly notify you by push notification or public announcement, explaining what happened, the potential impact, and the measures we have taken.

5. How We Share, Transfer, or Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information

5.1 We do not share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information.

5.2 The application does not integrate any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, profiling, or attribution SDKs. You may verify the application’s dependency list in the installed package.

5.3 We may disclose information where required by law or in response to a lawful request from a judicial or administrative authority through due legal process. Where permitted by law, we will notify you of such a request.

5.4 In the event of a merger, division, or asset transfer, we will require the successor to continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy. Otherwise, we will seek your consent again.

6. Your Rights

6.1 Under the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, you have the right to know about and decide how your personal information is processed, access and copy your personal information, correct and supplement it, delete it, and withdraw your consent.

Since all data is stored on your device and is not linked to your identity, you can exercise the following rights directly within the application without contacting us:

  • Access and Copy: View your data under “My,” “Settings,” and the relevant feature pages.
  • Correction and Completion: Change Bean names and avatars and adjust your settings.
  • Deletion: Delete individual training records, individual Bean profiles, or Bluetooth device history, or use “Clear Local Data” to clear all local data at once.
  • Withdrawal of Consent: Disable any permission or stop using the relevant feature.

6.2 You may also contact us using the information provided in Section 1. We will respond within fifteen business days. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the relevant regulatory authority or bring a lawsuit before a court with competent jurisdiction.

6.3 Because the application does not have an account system, there is no “Delete Account” function. Uninstalling the application removes its local data.

7. Protection of Minors

7.1 If you are a child under 14 years of age, please read this Privacy Policy together with your parent or legal guardian and use the application only with their consent.

7.2 We do not knowingly or actively collect personal information from children. A parent or legal guardian may contact us using the information provided in Section 1 to exercise the child’s rights to access, correct, or delete personal information on the child’s behalf.

7.3 Parents and legal guardians should supervise children’s use of the application, guide them in using it appropriately, and pay attention to usage time and eye health.

8. Updates to This Policy

8.1 We may update this Privacy Policy if the application’s features, the types of information processed, or applicable laws change. The updated version number and effective date will be displayed on this page.

8.2 If an update involves a material change to your personal information rights, such as collecting new types of information or changing the purposes of processing, we will notify you prominently and obtain your confirmation before the changes take effect.

8.3 You can view the current version of this Privacy Policy at any time under “My” → “Settings” → “Legal” in the application.

9. How to Contact Us

9.1 If you have any questions, comments, or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy, or wish to exercise your personal information rights, please contact us using the information provided in Section 1.

9.2 We will respond to your request within fifteen business days of receiving it.

9.3 This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. If a dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, either party may bring a lawsuit before a people’s court with competent jurisdiction at the operator’s place of domicile.
